How to Use and Care for Hair Lightening Bleach
Mandatory Strand & Skin Sensitivity Test: Always carry out a skin sensitivity and hair strand test, even if you have used the product on previous occasions.
Prep: Everyone should protect the hairline, ears, and any other sensitive areas with Vaseline before lightening. Use a non-metallic bowl and non-metallic brush.
Mix: Mix 25g of bleach with between 75ml and 100ml of cream peroxide depending upon the consistency required, in a non-metallic bowl. Use immediately.
Apply: Apply to clean, towel-dried hair, spreading evenly using a tint brush.
Targeted Timing: Check hair every 5 minutes and leave for the required time depending on desired intensity.
Storage: Rinse thoroughly and follow with a moisturizing shampoo.
