How to Use and Care for the No-Lye/No-Mix Organic Conditioning Texturizing System
Perform a Strand Test: Always perform a strand test on a small section of hair before applying to your full head, to check timing and result.
On Previously Texturized Hair: Smooth a quarter-size amount of Texture Control Pre-Texturizing Application over the ends of your hair to help protect them from further straightening.
On Virgin Hair: Do not use the Pre-Texturizing Application — proceed directly to the Texturizing Creme.
Apply the Texturizing Creme: Starting at the nape of your neck, use the back of your comb to gently spread the Texturizing Creme over hair in an upward motion, avoiding direct contact with the scalp. Apply quickly and evenly, then continue from the crown downward.
Check Application Time: Refer to the application time chart included in the kit for your desired texture.
Rinse and Neutralize: Rinse thoroughly, then apply the included neutralizing shampoo.
Condition: Apply the Hair Mayonnaise Conditioner, then finish with the Curl Keeper Moisturizing Lotion.
