Here’s a suggested usage routine to get the most out of it:

  1. Start in the shower or bath: Begin with your normal cleansing routine (body wash) and rinse off.
  2. Applying the scrub: On damp (or in some reviews, partially dry) skin, dispense a generous amount of the scrub. One blog suggested using it on dry skin (or not too damp) because the sugar crystals can “melt” on very wet skin and reduce exfoliation.
  3. Massage: Work the product in circular motions, focusing on areas that tend to be rough or dry (elbows, knees, ankles, heels). The sugar crystals will help buff away dead skin.
  4. Rinse thoroughly: Make sure all of the scrub product and residues are washed off.
  5. Follow up: After towelling off, apply your usual body moisturizer or because the product already includes coconut oil, you may feel the skin is smoother — but applying a lotion will enhance and maintain the benefit.
  6. Frequency: Use once or twice a week is typical for body scrubs — not daily, unless your skin tolerates it and you prefer it. Over‑scrubbing can irritate.
  7. Precautions: Avoid use on broken, irritated or sunburned skin. After use you may want to avoid immediate sun‐exposure if your skin is more sensitive post‑exfoliation. Also, because of oil content, the shower floor may become slippery — wipe carefully.
