How to Use and Care for Murry Breathable Stay On Durag Black M4804blk
Prep: Tuck all the hair in using gel. For longer hair, it is best to braid or twist it, and Murry says to use extra gel to set any baby hair.
Apply: Spray a scalp protector for extra hydration, as Murry directs, then place the cap on your head.
Targeted Timing: Place the cap around your head and adjust it so the fit is snug but comfortable, never tight.
Care: Take it off if it feels tight or causes a headache. Wash it as the label says.
Who this is for
Anyone who wants a stretchy satin sleep cap with an elastic band to hold their hair in place.
Who this is NOT for
- Anyone who gets headaches from tight head coverings: do not fit it tightly.
- Anyone with a sore, broken or irritated scalp.
- Anyone who wants a tie-down durag: this is a stretchable cap with an elastic band.
- Anyone who wants a hair loss or breakage treatment: this is a cap, and a doctor should see hair loss that is sudden, patchy or does not settle.
Safety: Do not fit it too tightly, because a tight fit can cause headaches, discomfort or pressure on the hairline. Do not sleep in it if it feels tight, leaves a mark or you wake with a headache. Take it off if you feel pain, tightness or dizziness. Avoid wearing it while the scalp is broken, sore or irritated. Hair gel and scalp products can leave residue on the cap and the pillow, so check the care label. Keep it away from flames and heat.
