Before You Begin: If your hair is damaged, tends to fall out, dry, brittle or breaks easily, wait before relaxing. If your scalp is sore, scratched or scaly, or if you have abrasions, pimples or any other disorders, don't relax now — wait and give your scalp time to heal.
Prep: Apply protective gel around the hairline. Smooth with a comb or fingertips.
Apply: Do not apply to scalp. With previously relaxed hair, relax only the new growth, following directions, using the wooden spatula.
Timing (Regular strength): Fine hair — 8 minutes application, 5–7 minutes smoothing, 15 minutes maximum. Medium hair — 8 minutes application, 8–10 minutes smoothing, 18 minutes maximum. Coarse hair — 8 minutes application, 10–12 minutes smoothing, 20 minutes maximum.
Storage: Rinse thoroughly, then shampoo with the included Colour Warning Conditioning Neutralizing Shampoo until the lather is no longer discoloured. Follow with the included leave-in conditioner.
Safety warnings :
